As I search the internet to find new and cool
concepts that I can bring back and use in the club
business invariably I am asked to opt-in to a list
to receive the information that I want.

This is all part of the game of internet
marketing; if you want the goodies you gotta give
up the e-mail; you did that to get these tips.

Unfortunately, not every internet marketer has
learned about e-mail etiquette and sometimes
you’ll get on a list and they send you more e-
mails than is desired or e-mails that aren’t
relevant to the topic you asked for.

Although you always have the option to opt-out of
a list, sometimes you want to stay on the list.

Maybe it’s so you can see the strategy behind what
they are doing from a marketing perspective; maybe
it’s because you do like the content and still
want to check out the stuff to see if there is
something interesting.

One way you can do this but not get a lot of junk
in your primary e-mail is to sign up for a gmail,
yahoo or hotmail account and use that to subscribe
to any of the internet stuff that you want to
check out.

That way you keep all of that separate and won’t
get frustrated with yourself or the person you’re
getting the e-mails from.

Until next time,
This is Casey Conrad for Smart Club Marketing E-
tips.

P.S. A Note from Linda:
I recommend a gmail account. You’ll see why
in upoming tips.
