Your ‘To Do’ List – Starter Pack 2

Thank you for your new purchase of one of our dynamic eMarketing products!

And welcome to the Smart Club Marketing family. You are about to learn the “magic” of Internet marketing.

But first there are several things we need you to do so we can help you achieve your goals.

We have separated these things into the five steps below.

Step 1

The first thing you will do is to enroll in the Autoresponder program. We use KickStartCart because of the many functionalities of the program.

KickStartCart requires you to change your password every month. So, when you create your password here’s how to do it:

  1. Start with your club name (or a shortened version of it) all in lowercase letters.
  2. Then end with the month and the year (2 digits each). So if I was going to create a password for Smart Club Marketing, and it is July 2009, I would select for my password: smartclub0709

On the order page (using the link below) you will see a video with exactly HOW to enroll. If you feel you don’t need the video, just click the button at the bottom of the page to begin the enrollment process.

After you enroll, please email us your username and password.

Step 2

Pick the template you would like for your eGuest Pass Generator and eReferral Generator.

Just go to this URL and make your selection: www.smartclubmarketing.com/gptemplate

Step 3

Send us your artwork. There are 2 pieces of high resolution artwork we need from you. We need them in .jpg format. (If you only have PDF format, we can accept that, too. But we prefer .jpg)

  1. Your company logo (high res)
  2. Your guest pass artwork (high res)

If you don’t have your own guest pass artwork, we can create one for you using this template with your logo.

Send us your artwork via email. Be sure to include your name and your club’s name in the email.

Step 4

One aspect of your Kick Start Cart messages has a place for a return e-mail. This is the e-mail address that the recipient will see as the sender. For the eGuest Pass Generator and the eReferral Generator we suggest that you add a general email address to your existing club email domain. For example, coach@abcclub.com.

The important thing is that this email be one that a sales manager (or whoever is responsible for the sales department) can check on a daily basis in the event someone sends a message back or wants to take advantage of one of your action offers. If you already have an info@abcclub.com address that you use for other sales inquiries then you could use that same email for the sake of efficiency.

This same email can be used for both the eGuest Pass and eReferral programs.

If you have multiple clubs we suggest that you have a separate email for each club so messages do not get miscommunicated.

Once you have the emails you would like to use, please email us the email address you wish to use for the autoresponders.

Step 5

For your eGuest Pass Generator (this is the Guest Pass that will generated from your website), we need to know two things:

  1. How many days is this guest pass valid?
    The standard is 3 days or 7 days. It should be less than the guest pass referred to a friend by a new member.
  2. What is the value (in dollar amount) of your guest pass?

One very important step in the eReferral Generator program is the ability for your new members to invite their friends to download a guest pass. Here are the 2 questions we need the answer to:

  1. How long is your guest pass for the friend of your new member valid?
    The standard is 7 days or 14 days. We just need to know how long you would like your new member’s friend to come to the club on their trial membership. Keep in mind that the new member guest pass should be more valuable than the standard guest pass you give away on your website.
  2. What is the value (in dollar amount) of your guest pass?

Email us these numbers and be sure to include your name and your club’s name in the email.

That’s it, you’re done! Now just wait for our email telling you when we’re all done with your project.

Note: At the end of our setup process, we will be testing your eMarketing products. You may receive emails saying things like “Autoresponders successfully inherited” or other testing emails. Just ignore them.
